隆Adi贸s Flash! Este es el calendario que maneja Chrome para activar HTML5 por defecto
Google anunci贸 hace 4 meses sus planes para activar HTML5 por defecto en su navegador Chrome, ofreciendo as铆 una experiencia de navegaci贸n m谩s segura, r谩pida y eficiente. Este cambio trae consigo el "apagado" progresivo de Adobe Flash, una tecnolog铆a que ha sido clave en los 煤ltimos a帽os de Internet pero que ha terminado por perder protagonismo por diversas razones. Para asegurar una transici贸n tranquila, desde Google han planificado hasta el 煤ltimo detalle y han definido unas fechas clave para la transici贸n de tecnolog铆as.
Este cambio empezar谩 a llegar a todos los usuarios a lo largo de los pr贸ximos meses. HTML5 por defecto, as铆 se llama la novedad., estar谩 activado en el 1% de los usuarios que hayan actualizado a la versi贸n estable Google Chrome 55. El cambio tambi茅n est谩 presente en el 50% de los usuarios con Google Chrome 56 en su rama beta. La idea es aplicarlo en el 100% de los usuarios de Google Chrome 56 cuando se lance la versi贸n definitiva en febrero de este a帽o.

A partir de enero, los usuarios de Chrome ser谩n preguntados si quieren activar Flash en p谩ginas web que nunca han visitado antes. Con esta medida, Google quiere evitar la saturaci贸n de los usuarios al estar pregunt谩ndoles cada dos por tres si quieren utilizar esta tecnolog铆a. Con el paso del tiempo, la base de datos de webs que activan por defecto Flash se ir谩 reduciendo hasta su posterior desaparici贸n.
En octubre de 2017, todas las p谩ginas web deber谩n recibir la autorizaci贸n expresa del usuario para activar Flash y, en ning煤n momento, este se activar谩 por defecto como si suceder谩 con algunas en los meses anteriores. De esta forma, Google pretende "apagar" progresivamente el Flash.
Esto tambi茅n har谩 que algunas p谩ginas web tengan varios meses de plazo para adaptarse a esta tecnolog铆a, aunque esto es algo que deber铆an haber ido haciendo desde hace tiempo. Despu茅s de mucho tiempo, se est谩n dando los pasos definitivos para jubilar a Flash de una vez por todas, agradeciendo sus servicios y diciendo "esto es todo amigos".
